What You Can Expect:

Getting Hired - Getting hired at Advanced Air is a big deal. We hold ourselves to a high standard, and by joining the team, you’re becoming part of a company that takes pride in operating at a high level within the HVAC industry.
Customer Service Training - As a Nexstar member company, all technicians at Advanced Air are expected to follow the Service System when running service calls. You’ll begin learning the Service System by completing the self-study guide on your own, along with participating in weekly Service System meetings at the shop.
Technical Training - A good technician needs strong technical skills and the ability to solve problems in the field. No one knows everything in this trade, and there will always be situations you haven’t seen before. The key is continuing to learn, leaning on the team around you, and building a strong technical foundation through training and hands-on experience.
Running Service Calls - You’ll eventually be expected to run service calls on your own. This usually starts with a supervisor riding along with you. Participation in the on-call schedule is required. As you begin running your own calls, you’ll also be expected to complete Curbside Feedback Forms as part of the Service System process.
