Advanced Solar & Energy Solutions, a trusted New Jersey company with over 40 years in business, is seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Foreman / Project Manager to lead installations and manage projects from start to finish.

This is a leadership role for someone who understands solar inside and out — from installation and commissioning to customer communication and project coordination.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of jobs, lead crews efficiently, and ensure projects are completed correctly, on time, and professionally.

Position Overview

You will oversee residential and commercial solar projects, manage crews, commission systems, handle technical troubleshooting, and ensure all administrative and state requirements are completed properly.

This is not an entry-level installer position — this is a hands-on leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise solar installation crews
Commission residential and commercial solar systems
Set up and configure system monitoring platforms
Troubleshoot inverters and system performance issues
Perform electrical work and ensure code compliance
Manage day-to-day job site operations
Organize and schedule crews and work orders
Maintain clear communication with customers
Coordinate inspections and township approvals
Submit and track utility applications
Set up and manage SREC accounts and registrations
Organize state certification documentation
Maintain accurate project documentation and timelines
Ensure projects pass inspection and are closed out properly

Qualifications

Strong solar installation experience required
Electrical experience required (licensed electrician preferred)
Experience commissioning solar systems
Knowledge of solar monitoring platforms
Experience troubleshooting inverters and system issues
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Professional communication skills
Reliable and accountable
