Duties

Collaborate with clients to assess their HVAC requirements through site visits and consultations.
Prepare detailed proposals and quotes based on technical schematics, HVAC design principles, and customer specifications.
Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, emphasizing energy efficiency, reliability, and cost savings.
Install, troubleshoot, and service HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and appliances.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure precise installation and repairs.
Conduct system testing using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to verify proper operation.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, maintenance activities, and customer interactions.

Experience

Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as plumbing or refrigeration.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, or property maintenance.
Familiarity with HVAC/R systems including ammonia refrigeration and air conditioning units.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design and installation.
Field service experience working with various tools including ohmmeters and welding equipment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.04 - $32.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
