Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

As a team member of AirTemp Mechanical Services, you will be required to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, service, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment up to 75 tons, refrigeration equipment, and ice machines. VRF experience and ability to use a laptop - VRF service tools is a plus. Experience working on Chillers is also a plus. The ideal candidate will also have experience working on installation projects and all aspects of the HVAC Industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service commercial air conditioning systems; refrigeration equipment, and ice machines.
Install ductwork and controls;
Maintain all parts and equipment used in the installation process;
Ability to troubleshoot and make accurate diagnosis to prevent callbacks
Ability to perform preventive maintenance on AC & Ice Machines
Complete work orders with clear, accurate information on parts and service needed;
Coordinate with supervisor to ensure that jobs are completed successfully;
Communicate effectively and professionally with customers;
Complete and email to the office all work orders;
Keep accurate records of work performed;

Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma; GED; trade school or equivalent experience in the HVAC Industry.

Must have a clean and valid driver’s license!!

Must be able to lift 50 to 70 lbs.

5 years (Required)

OSHA/ EPA 680/ G60/ F60 Certified

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
