Duties

Lead the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical components using hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic tools
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to ensure precise system setup and compliance with safety standards
Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to optimize performance and extend system lifespan
Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on complex systems involving electrical controls and automation components
Train and supervise field technicians on installation procedures, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, system diagnostics, and repair logs

Skills

Extensive construction experience with HVAC system installation and property maintenance
Proven service technician experience with HVAC system repair and maintenance
Strong knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and building automation systems
Skilled in plumbing, electrical diagnostics
Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment repair including boilers and mechanical systems
Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools
Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems efficiently while providing excellent customer service
Valid EPA certification for refrigerants; experience with electrical systems diagnostics is essential
Experience working with HVAC/R equipment repair in commercial or industrial settings; field service background preferred
Knowledge of appliance repair techniques related to air conditioning units and other mechanical appliances
Strong mechanical skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for local travel to job sites

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
