Welcome to Cornerstone HVAC! We are seeking a Lead HVAC Technician and Boiler Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in servicing and installing a variety of HVAC systems. This role requires expertise in different HVAC technologies and the ability to install systems and duct work with precision.

Responsibilities

Install heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential and commercial clients.
Ability to start and complete install based on specifications of client.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement HVAC solutions based on client needs.
Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
Troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems or necessary upgrades.
Weld components as needed for system installations or repairs.
Plumb necessary connections for heating and cooling units.
Drive company vehicles to job sites while ensuring safe transport of tools and equipment.
Collaborate with service technicians to address customer concerns effectively.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the field service industry.
Familiarity with Split Unit Systems, Furnace and Central Unit replacements, Boiler replacements, and Duct Work installation and replacement.
Ability to be left on task without supervision.
Valid driver's license is required.
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Strong understanding of property maintenance practices.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Compensation

Starting from $35 up to $45 per hour (rate negotiable depending on experience)
