Plumbing Engineer
Salary: $60,000 – $100,000/year
Remote - with some travel to job sites, in New York

We're hiring a Plumbing Engineer to join our client company’s team. This is a full-time remote position. We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who can work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality plumbing system designs for commercial and industrial building projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
5 years experience designing plumbing systems for commercial and/or industrial buildings.
PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred, EI (Engineer Intern) certification
Experience with domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, natural gas, and plumbing systems for building design.
Strong understanding of plumbing engineering principles and applicable design standards.
Experience with BIM software, Revit a plus
Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of Building, Plumbing, and Energy Codes for the State of New York
Able to travel to job sites in New York occasionaly
Experience preparing construction documents and coordinating with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
