We’re growing and looking for a skilled, creative Fabricator to join our busy Truck Shop in E. Yaphank, NY.

What You’ll Do

Fabricate a variety of metal components and structures from sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions
Perform custom fabrication and installation projects on fire apparatus and specialty vehicles
Cut, fit, layout, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly
Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel (sheet metal to structural)
Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Operate shop equipment including shear, brake, horizontal band saw, bench-top disc sander, and related fabrication tools
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

What You Bring

Strong MIG & TIG welding experience (aluminum, stainless steel, and steel required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Solid math skills and accurate measurement conversions
Ability to work independently with a positive, can-do attitude
Professional communication skills
Consistent ability to produce clean, high-quality welds
Own hand and air tools

Position Details

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
$25–$40 per hour (DOE)
