Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnace, heat pumps, dehumidifiers, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping repairs, and system connections.
Utilize testing tools like ohmmeters to measure electrical components’ resistance and ensure system integrity.
Repair mechanical equipment using welding techniques or specialized tools; perform equipment repair to restore optimal operation.
Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed in compliance with safety standards.
Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to ensure continuous operation and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system installation and repair.
Knowledge of construction principles related to building systems integration.
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, and mechanical drawings.
Mechanical knowledge covering pumps, motors, welding techniques, and general equipment repair.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately; experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is preferred.
Valid driver’s license for field service travel between sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
