HVAC Technician

GoldHill Solutions is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team at a residential community of 480+ units. This role is ideal for someone who knows heating and cooling systems inside and out and takes pride in diagnosing issues correctly the first time.

You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems throughout the property, helping keep residents comfortable and units make-ready ready.

What You'll Do

HVAC Systems

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating and cooling systems
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC units
Handle refrigerant charging, coil cleaning, and filter replacement
Repair or replace compressors, motors, thermostats, and other components
Respond to HVAC-related work orders and resident service requests
Assist with emergency HVAC calls as needed

Make Ready & General Support

Ensure HVAC systems are fully operational for make-ready units
Support preventive maintenance programs
Assist with general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, appliances) as needed
Communicate unit status and repair timelines to the maintenance supervisor

What You Bring

Proven experience as an HVAC technician, ideally in multifamily or residential settings
EPA 608 certification required
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Comfortable using work order/maintenance software
Reliable transportation and tools
Professional and respectful communication with residents
Bilingual is a plus
