This position is highly guest service focused. The successful candidate must understand that hotel maintenance is not just about repairing equipment - it is about taking care of our guests. The technician must be professional, courteous, well-presented, and comfortable interacting directly with guests while responding promptly to their needs.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded maintenance professional who can diagnose problems, determine the cause of equipment failures, and complete repairs safely and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications. The job description is not intended to include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future. The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair commercial hot-water systems and water heaters.
Understand basic electronic controls and perform basic electronic troubleshooting.
Perform general hotel maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, mechanical equipment, guest-room systems, and other property maintenance needs.
Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow hotel safety procedures.
