Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Dexter Laundry Equipment Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial laundry equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on commercial laundry machines including washers, dryers, and related equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment efficiently.
Conduct electrical repairs and work with refrigeration systems when necessary to ensure proper operation.
Install new equipment and assist with assembly or setup at customer sites.
Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation of repairs performed.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance advice, and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles involving commercial or industrial equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
Experience with electrical systems and refrigeration is highly desirable.
Prior service technician experience in appliance or equipment repair preferred.
Customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
Delivery driver experience with a valid box truck license or experience operating similar vehicles preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC systems or assembly of mechanical components is a plus.
Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently.
