Low Voltage Foreman — Justin Hall Consulting

Full-time | $30–$33/hour | Atlanta area | Up to 25% Southeast travel

We Construct Business Technology. JHC designs, installs, and supports the technology inside real businesses across the Southeast. We need a working field leader who makes a three-person crew productive and drives jobs through testing, documentation, and closeout.

What you will own

Break the scope into parallel work packages, with measurable daily targets and a clear definition of done.

Keep tools, materials, pathways, and access ready so the whole crew can work productively.

Check production at midday and end of day: planned versus completed quantities, crew-hours used, blockers, and recovery plans.

Read drawings and scopes, coordinate jobsite work, and communicate schedule risks early.

Install and troubleshoot structured cabling, fiber, Wi-Fi, surveillance, access control, and related low-voltage systems.

Verify workmanship and finish testing, labeling, redlines, photos, punch-list items, and customer handoff.

What you bring

At least 3 years of hands-on commercial low-voltage experience.

Evidence of organizing a crew, measuring output, and completing projects through testing and closeout.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Availability for up to 25% travel and occasional nights or weekends.

Strong pluses

Own suitable work truck preferred, not required.

Copper and fiber termination/testing.

Racks, Wi-Fi, surveillance, access control, intrusion, or A/V.

Lift, OSHA, BICSI, or manufacturer certifications.

Experience with drawings, daily reports, and closeout packages.

Our application process

Short, specific answers about your own work are welcome. A résumé and job photos are optional. Be ready to discuss a project you finished and how you would organize a three-person crew.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

Describe a commercial low-voltage job you personally drove to completion. Include crew size, scope quantities, planned versus actual days, your own contribution, and how you verified testing, labeling, punch-list closure, and handoff. Short, specific answers are welcome.
You have three technicians and 24 crew-hours tomorrow. Cable routes, rack preparation, and device mounting can proceed independently. How would you assign work, set measurable targets, check progress at midday, and verify completion? If half the hours are used but only 30% of planned output is complete, what do you do? State your assumptions.
