Loescher Heating & Air Conditioning is a mechanical contractor with offices in Freeport, Sterling, and Monroe. We do HVAC and plumbing work across northwest Illinois, southern Wisconsin, and eastern Iowa, on everything from commercial service to public and private construction. We're hiring a Project Manager who will run jobs from award through closeout and also bring in new work and grow customer relationships.

What You'll Do

Run HVAC and plumbing projects from award to closeout: buyout, purchase orders, subcontracts, and schedule.
Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Build schedules of values and submit monthly pay applications.
Coordinate with field foremen, vendors, subcontractors, GCs, and engineers.
Track job cost and margin, and keep ownership informed on status and risk.
Manage closeout: O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranty documents.
Develop new and repeat customers, and estimate and sell small-to-mid-size projects.

What We're Looking For

3+ years managing mechanical or plumbing projects. We'll also consider new Construction Management graduates for an assistant PM track.
Able to read mechanical and plumbing drawings and specs.
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling several jobs at once.
Clear communicator with customers, field crews, and office staff.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Bluebeam / estimating / job-cost software is a plus.
Self-starter who can run jobs with minimal supervision.
