Overview
We are seeking a positive, energetic Construction Project Manager to join our fast-paced residential design/build team, responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through completion while ensuring quality, schedule, and client expectations are met.

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to develop project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
Monitor project budgets, track costs, and approve expenditures
Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate implementation
Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining compliance with safety standards and building codes
Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on progress, changes, and issues
Oversee construction site activities, ensuring quality control, safety protocols, and all work complies with local building codes and regulations
Monitor project timelines through detailed project scheduling and adjust plans proactively to meet deadlines
Combination of office and on-site work

Skills

1-3 years of proven experience in construction site management
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
Proficiency with Buildertrend for project scheduling, documentation and communication purposes
Skilled in reading blueprints and schematics accurately to interpret technical details on-site
Excellent project management skills including planning, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments
Demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects with a focus on safety and quality standards
