Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Polisher/Grinder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming concrete surfaces into smooth, polished finishes that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise in grinding, polishing, and finishing concrete will contribute to the aesthetic appeal and durability of various commercial and residential projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, utilize advanced tools, and develop your skills in concrete finishing and surface preparation.

Duties

Operate hand tools and power tools such as grinders, polishers, and scarifiers to smooth and finish concrete surfaces
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary coatings or sealants
Use schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications and ensure precise execution
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project requirements
Collaborate with team members on rebar installation, formwork, and other related construction tasks
Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times

Requirements

Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete finishing or grinding
Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics interpretation
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction site operations including heavy equipment use and roofing safety
Valid driver’s license
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
