Commercial Service Electrician

RESET, Inc. | Camarillo, CA | Full-Time | Field-Based

About the Position

RESET is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Electrician to join our Field Service team supporting customers throughout Southern California.

This isn't your typical construction electrician position. We're looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving technical problems, working with different types of equipment, and interacting directly with customers.

Our work includes commercial parking systems, automated gates, Level 2 EV charging equipment, electrical controls, and other electro-mechanical systems.

What You'll Do

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace commercial electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
Perform electrical installations, including conduit, wiring, circuits, breakers, disconnects, and equipment connections.
Diagnose electrical problems involving power supplies, relays, sensors, controls, and low-voltage systems.
Install, replace, and troubleshoot Level 2 EV charging equipment.
Support parking access control systems, gate operators, and equipment upgrades.
Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings.
Work alongside our Field Service Technicians on customer projects.
Document service findings, completed work, and recommended repairs.
Communicate professionally with customers and equipment manufacturers.

What We're Looking For

Strong hands-on commercial electrical experience.
Solid electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of California electrical codes and applicable local requirements.
Experience with both line-voltage and low-voltage systems.
Ability to work independently at customer locations.
Comfortable using computers, mobile applications, and technical documentation.
Appropriate California electrical certification or trainee status where legally required for assigned work.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Experience with EV charging, automated gates, parking equipment, access control, or industrial controls is a plus, but not required.

Above everything else, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping customers, and wants to be part of a technical service team.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position serving customer locations throughout Southern California. Technicians generally receive assignments remotely and do not need to report to our Camarillo office each morning.

Occasional early morning, evening, or after-hours work may be required depending on customer needs.
