If you're going to apply and then not show up for the interview, don't apply. Don't waste your time or ours. We've had too many people book interviews or agree to an on-site trial and then disappear without a word. Don't bring that here.

We're looking for people who are self-motivated, think critically, and can lead a team and lead themselves to get better every day. If that's you, keep reading.

The Retiz Electric Builder Track

Retiz Electric is a small, licensed Houston electrical contractor growing in residential and commercial work. We're looking for an electrician who wants to grow alongside the company, not just clock in. The owner is off the tools to build the business, and the journeyman we hire now will help shape what Retiz becomes. We promote from within: as the company grows, so do you.

Pay

$36–45/hr as a contractor, paid weekly
Weekly fuel stipend
W-2 conversion reviewed at 90 days

How you grow here
Journeyman → Lead Electrician

Every promotion comes with a raise
Quarterly reviews against a written skills checklist, so you always know where you stand
Support toward your Master license if that's where you're headed

Why electricians choose Retiz

Direct line to the owner. In a small company, your ideas and your work get noticed.

What you'll do
