Who We Are

Waldrop Plumbing – Heating – Air hires top plumbing and HVAC pros across Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. If you're an HVAC Service Tech who wants to grow, this is built for you.

We've been doing this for more than 50 years, and our team voted us a Great Place To Work. We do the right thing even if it hurts, and that matters when you want a company that backs good technicians with training, support, and standards.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day starts in the field, meeting customers who need someone prompt, courteous, and sharp. You'll handle scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and bring calm to situations that feel stressful before you arrive.

You'll diagnose and repair air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, and even residential geothermal and HVAC systems. You won't just fix equipment. You'll explain what's going on, walk customers through solutions, and earn trust the right way.

This role feels good if you're the kind of tech who likes solving real problems and being known for getting it right. You'll have precise systems, clear goals, and a supportive team behind you, so you can focus on doing your best work.

The Hiring Process

We have a rigorous process for hiring, but move FAST for the right person. You could be hired in as little as 10 days! We've had lots of interest, so the first few steps are automated to make sure you can get considered quickly.

Don't worry—if you take the time to apply, we will respond to 100% of the applicants.

The process:

Click apply and answer a few Who, What, When questions. (5 min)
You'll be texted a link for a 10 min questionnaire that will help match you to the job (or others that might suit you!).
You'll get a text for a quick 1-way video question. (5 min)
We'll send you a link to get scheduled for an in-person interview.
You can easily be in for an interview within a couple days from right now.

What You'll Earn

You'll earn $75,000 to $130,000 per year. This is a full-time role at 40 to 45 hours per week, with a competitive pay structure, full benefits, 401K match, and a real path to grow as you sharpen your skills and take on more.

Why Work With Us

If you care about great customer service and want ongoing training and education, you'll feel at home here. Keeping customers happy and growing careers are top priorities, not empty slogans.

You'll be part of a company focused on what matters: our customers, our employees, and our company. You get full benefits, 401K match, steady demand, and a team that covers your six in the field.

This is not the place for someone who cuts corners, shows up late, or treats service like a transaction. It is the place for someone who wants to do the right thing, even when it's harder.

Who We're Looking For

You thrive here if you're service-oriented, professional, and a bit of a perfectionist. You stay cool under pressure, think clearly, and genuinely care about solving the customer's problem the right way.

You like troubleshooting and problem solving in the real world.
You know being prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable matters.
You enjoy explaining solutions so customers feel informed, not sold.
You want advancement, steady work, and systems that help you win.
You work like a teammate and value a strong crew behind you.
You should not apply if you resist process, dislike customers, or take shortcuts.

If you're ready for a steady career with a team that invests in you, apply now. Good techs don't stay available for long.
