Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. This role involves working closely with other construction professionals on-site and requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and safety protocols.

Duties

Prepare and set up forms for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications, using appropriate tools and techniques.
Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools to achieve a smooth, even finish.
Restore and repair existing concrete surfaces as needed, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with team members in frame carpentry, flooring installation, and hardscape projects as necessary.
Operate heavy equipment safely on the construction site when required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Perform heavy lifting as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials used in concrete finishing.
Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications effectively.
Experience in frame carpentry is a plus.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is desirable.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods on construction sites.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
