NCCCO Certified Crane Operator – Boom Crane

Position Summary
Premier Staffing Unlimited is seeking a NCCCO Certified Crane Operator with experience operating boom cranes in construction and field environments. This role requires strong knowledge of load charts, rigging practices, and safe lifting procedures, along with the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in travel-based field assignments.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable staying on-site for certain projects where per diem, room, and board are provided.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate boom cranes in accordance with NCCCO, OSHA, and company safety standards
Interpret and apply crane load charts for safe lifting operations
Perform and verify proper rigging, signaling, and load securement
Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine equipment checks
Communicate effectively with ground crews, signal persons, and supervisors
Follow all safety procedures, jobsite rules, and DOT regulations
Work in outdoor environments, elevated positions, and active construction sites
Travel to project locations and remain on-site when required

Minimum Requirements

Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (required)
Experience operating boom cranes
Strong understanding of load charts and rigging practices
Valid Driver’s License
Class A CDL preferred
Class B CDL accepted
Ability to work outdoors and at heights
Willingness to travel and stay on-site for project work
Must pass drug screen and background check
