We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to install, service, and maintain irrigation systems for residential landscape projects in Walpole, MA. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring efficient system operation, promoting healthy landscapes, and providing high-quality service to homeowners.
The ideal candidate has experience with residential irrigation systems, a strong mechanical aptitude, and enjoys working outdoors. You will be responsible for both routine maintenance and troubleshooting, helping keep lawns and gardens healthy and thriving while supporting a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, and sprinkler heads
- Perform seasonal start-ups, shut-downs, and routine system inspections
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, including leaks, misaligned heads, and controller malfunctions
- Adjust systems for optimal water efficiency and landscape health
- Maintain accurate service records and follow company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners regarding system operation and maintenance
Requirements
- Experience with irrigation system installation and maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation components, controls, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
