Position: Architecture Project Manager (3 positions)
Start: ASAP
Length: 12 months with possible extension
Candidate Location: Would need to be local, unless someone is willing to move to Nashville for the duration of the project (expenses not paid)
Travel/Remote:
- Team is in the office
- Initially onsite 5 days/week until they are fully trained, then will have flexibility to work remote 2 days/week
- Training is typically 3 months
Location: Nashville, TN
Interview Process:
- Multi-round interview process
- 2 Sr. Architect PM’s that interview and the Vice President over the team
Job Scope:
- Oversee major construction projects/renovations/builds from the ground up type of projects.
- Annually, they are managing 100 construction projects.
- They are separate from the facilities management group.
- Their team – minor renovations to building from the ground up
- Mid-town campus is their primary location of projects. They sometimes get projects at their other campuses, but not often
- The role in their office is a true Project Manager (they are the project master – making sure they are on budget/on scope)
- Specific project:
- Their PM’s manage 10-15 projects depending on complexity and what phase of construction they are in
- The team needs more coverage right now
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Healthcare experience in architecture
- Worked at an architecture firm, working on a healthcare project (doesn’t have to be employed by a hospital)
- Next best thing is academic experience
- Project Management experience
- In the past, some have done just drafting
- Clinical space, academic research space is where a lot of their focus is right now
