Well established production plant is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Work environment is solid, requires each team member to work autonomously and stay on task.

Current shifts are day and swing shift, work schedule is 8 hour days with some OT and Saturdays.

Job Description:

Troubleshoot & repair machinery utilized in a food products manufacturing plant.
Conduct routine inspections and repairs of machinery and premises.
Disassemble and reassemble machinery for inspection or to replace defective parts.
Maintain and service gear boxes, chains, motors and pumps.
Assist with machine rebuilds and revisions.
Perform Periodic Maintenance to machinery.
Read and understand Electrical Diagrams, Operating Manuals & Specifications.
Interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.
Alert Supervisors and Managers of safety or mechanical issues.
Maintain work area and engineering shop in a professional and safe manner.

Job Requirements:

Two years’ Maintenance Technician experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Able to work independently.
Able to interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.
Able to lift 55 lbs.
Able to bend, reach, kneel and climb ladders to repair and inspect equipment.
Must have good hearing and vision (corrections okay)
Willing to work extra shifts as assigned.

Desirable Additional Experience:

Fabricating, welding, machining experience.
Refrigeration/boiler background.
Electronics repair.
Education/Training will be considered as experience.
