Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder for our client in Sparks, NV. You will be responsible for various types of curbs-product assembly and final assembly operations to manufacture product to drawings, and specifications. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading company while building your long-term career.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand.
- Ensure Client quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Assembly equipment maintenance.
- Continuous process improvement
- Safety and housekeeping.
Requirements
- Experienced MIG-welding 20 gauge.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situatio-10-gauge sheet metal
- Experienced with MIG-welding or documented welding training
- Safety and Security- Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
- Attendance/Punctuality- Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
- Dependability- Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs & have steeled-toed shoes
- Must pass a background check
Schedule & Pay
- Shift: 1st Shift 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Shift : 2nd shift 12PM - 8:30PM
- Pay: $20.00
