We are seeking an EXPERIENCED (3+ years) grappler / shear crane operator for a scrap metal warehouse. This is a full-time, permanent position.
This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including grappler/crane, strap excavator, skid steer, and front-end loader.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and site operations effectively.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment is stored properly after use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation. .
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with heavy equipment operation, including lifting and maneuvering materials.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks performed.
