Summary of Position

As a Welder/Fabricator on the E-TANK team, you will be responsible for major fabrication repairs to roll off and box equipment.

Job Responsibilities

Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and shape materials according to design specifications.
Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble parts and components, using drills, welders, grinders, hand tools, plasma cutters, and cutting torches.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety. Clean, organize, and maintain the shop area and shop equipment.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the fabrication process, such as material defects or design discrepancies.

Required Skills

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to perform MIG and Stick Welds.
Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling components.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with hand tools and machinery with skill and accuracy.
Problem-Solving: Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks and work in various environmental conditions. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time and performing physical aspects of the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience. A weld test will be conducted in the interview process.
