We are hiring Pipefitters for our Mechanical projects in the Raleigh/Wilson/Durham NC area. Projects in certain areas are offering$120 a day in perdiems if you live 55 miles or more outside of those sites. Yes, there is overtime.
Working mostly with carbon 2” schedule 80 and stainless up to 2” schedule 10.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, grind and either tread or bevel the piping ends.
- Drill and tap holes in structures to attach brackets and guards.
- Grind down parts when necessary to clean poor welds.
- Pipe fabrication for welded and screwed systems.
- Strictly follow all safety policies.
Experience:
- Must have at least 6 years of mechanical pipefitting experience up to $35 hr.
- Prepping pipe and layout.
- Working experience using blueprints, technical drawings and work orders.
Requirements:
- Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Have tools of the trade.
- Osha 10 and valid drivers license - project specific
