Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role you will conduct fire alarm inspections as well as service, installation, maintenance, programming and troubleshooting.

Duties

Lead the installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems using detailed schematics, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
Oversee system design processes ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and low voltage requirements.
Conduct fire alarm inspections to verify proper installation proper performance.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system schematics to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Perform field service tasks including testing sensors, alarms, power supplies, and control panels; utilize hand tools and power tools for precise work.
Coordinate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate fire alarm systems seamlessly into building infrastructure.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, service reports, and inspection logs for compliance purposes.

Experience

Proven experience as a fire alarm technician and low voltage wiring.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings accurately.
Hands-on experience with system design, construction inspection, and field service operations related to fire alarm systems.
Knowledge of NEC standards related to fire alarm wiring and sensor integration; understanding of fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
