Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Electrician to join our team as a New Mexico EE98 Master Electrician. This vital role involves overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across diverse construction and renovation projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical work on construction sites, renovations, and commercial projects, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and safety protocols
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system installations
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters, power tools, hand tools, and specialized testing equipment
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes effectively
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC standards and local codes; document all work performed
- Mentor apprentice electricians by providing guidance on best practices in industrial and commercial electrical work
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics updates, test results, and inspection reports
Requirements
- Valid New Mexico EE98 Master Electrician license.
- Experience in completing job walks and defining estimations of materials and time to complete.
- Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical installations
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing devices for troubleshooting and installation tasks
- Knowledge of schematics interpretation for both new installations and system upgrades
- Strong understanding of low voltage wiring practices alongside high voltage safety procedures

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
