Pay:
$80,000 – $100,000 per year (Salary)
Hours:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch propane and heating oil delivery trucks daily
- Optimize routes for efficiency and timely service
- Communicate with drivers regarding route changes, weather delays, and urgent deliveries
- Monitor tank levels and degree-day forecasting systems (if applicable)
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
- Process delivery tickets and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate emergency fuel deliveries when necessary
- Work closely with service technicians and office staff
- Ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations
Skills:
- Prior dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination experience preferred
- 3+ years of dispatching or fuel delivery experience required
- Experience in propane, oil, HVAC, or fuel delivery industry strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure
- Knowledge of Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island geography preferred
Work Environment:
- Office-based position in Rehoboth, MA
