Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic
Ferris Development Group is seeking a Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our rapidly growing team. This role will support HVAC ductwork fit-outs on both commercial and residential projects throughout Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate must hold a Massachusetts Sheet Metal License and have strong mechanical aptitude. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced, growing company, this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and work orders
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery parts and equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other machinery to cut, bend, shape, flatten, and smooth metal pieces
- Measure dimensions and weights of parts accurately
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and others
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Sheet Metal License
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and HVAC ductwork installation
- Commitment to workplace safety
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
