What We Expect from You:
As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing various types of machinery. Your skills in hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, welding, and programming will be essential. You'll also perform complex electrical and electronic troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in and around Fire Sprinkler Maintenance or have previously possessed an FSMT License.
Job Duties:
- You'll perform detailed preventative maintenance, repairs, and modifications on all machinery, ensuring you keep up-to-date technical knowledge.
- You'll install, maintain, and repair complex machines and related equipment, including motors, mechanical devices, belts, drives, air compressors, air handling systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic devices, electrical control systems, electrical wiring, and electronic circuits.
- You'll perform complex electrical and electronic troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
- You'll coordinate machine repairs with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, and Service Technicians from machine manufacturers.
- You'll disassemble, clean, repair, and replace worn or damaged parts, then reassemble, level, align, and check machines and equipment to ensure proper function and operation.
- You'll work on wet and dry fire sprinkler systems.
- You'll work on robotic equipment.
- You'll repair overhead cranes, forklifts, vehicles, and similar equipment.
- You'll perform general repair and maintenance of the facility and buildings.
- You'll follow safety rules and keep your work area clean and organized.
- You'll perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- You should be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints, schematics, and diagrams.
- You must be able to work with minimal supervision and collaborate well with others in a team environment.
- You need to be available for on-call duty during off-hours.
- A prior Fire Sprinkler Maintenance Technician (FSMT) License is a plus. The initiative to earn an FSMT License is a requirement.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- You should have at least 1+ years of experience in a machine/facilities maintenance (preferred).
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office programs are required.
- You should have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- You need to be able to communicate ideas quickly and clearly, and to read, write, and understand instructions, warnings, labels, and postings.
- You need to be 18 years of age or older.
Heavy Physical Activity/Demands:
- You'll need to exert heavy physical effort, including pulling and lifting or moving heavy materials or equipment up to 50 pounds regularly.
- You'll need to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, carry, pull, push, grasp, stoop, squat, bend, and stretch as needed throughout your shift.
- You'll need to work continuously around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil, and heavy equipment.
- Personal protective equipment is typically required for this position.

Experience:
