Overview
We're looking for a Certified Rigger for a 2 to 4 week job working 6 - 10's
$75 a day per diem
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
Will have to take ISTC for SE Safe and Site specific.
Responsibilities
- Safely attach, detach, and secure loads using rigging equipment on construction sites, ensuring all lifts are performed according to safety protocols.
- Operate or assist in operating heavy equipment such as cranes
- Conduct thorough inspections of rigging gear, cranes, and other machinery prior to use to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with crane operators and other team members to execute lifts with precision and safety.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of crane operations, including positioning cranes and securing load paths.
- Maintain detailed records of rigging activities, inspections, and equipment usage logs.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to construction site operations.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy machinery operation and safety procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge related to crane systems, rigging hardware, and various types of construction equipment such as Caterpillar machinery or farm-related machinery.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting large structural components safely using cranes or other lifting devices.
Pay: $34.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Crane Rigger Certification (Required)
