Overview
Our company is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous professional with a strong focus on framing, precision-based finish carpentry and a commitment to superior craftsmanship. This role is essential to the success of our shop and fabrication team to create designs from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine material requirements and project scope.
- Fabrication and Installation: Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, including framing, trim, roofing, windows, doors and other fabrication work.
- Tool Proficiency: Operate a variety of hand and power tools with precision and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Project Management: Manage your work orders, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications and Required Attributes
- Experience: Proven experience as a carpenter, with a specific emphasis on framing and finish work.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrable proficiency in a wide range of carpentry techniques, including framing, trim work, and the use of modern tools and materials.
- Attention to Detail: Possess an exceptional eye for detail and a steadfast dedication to quality and flawless execution.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve shop and on-site challenges effectively and efficiently.
- Professionalism: Exhibit a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills when interacting with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
