Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications,
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units.
- Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and heating systems to identify necessary repairs.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions.
- Use tools such as sheet metal tools, drills and refrigerant gauges to complete installations.
- Drive company vans to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the field service industry.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, refrigerants, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to HVAC installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
- Knowledge of brazing techniques is a plus but not required.
