Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forming/Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining AMADA forming and brake press machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Your expertise will ensure precision, efficiency, and safety throughout the fabrication process. Duties
- Operate and set up press brake machines, CNC laser cutting systems, and other forming equipment to produce accurate sheet metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), to ensure precise fabrication
- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement verification
- Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine calibration to ensure consistent quality and performance
- Follow safety protocols diligently while operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery in the fabrication environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forming presses, brake presses, CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, and other manufacturing machinery
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and quality inspection procedures
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for inspection purposes
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes including plasma cutting, stamping presses, welding, and machining techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks

Pay: $25.02 - $31.14 per hour
