Journeyman Carpenter – $24–$31/hr – Winterport, ME
Springwood Builders LLC is looking for an action-taking carpenter with an eye for detail to join our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform a wide range of general carpentry/construction tasks including installations, layout, and site work as needed.
- Read and interpret basic plans, drawings, and layouts.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and crew members.
- Accurately measure and lay out materials for cuts and installs.
- Assist with material handlings, loading, and site prep.
- Follow established safety practices and maintain a safe job site.
- Maintain clean, organized job sites, trucks, and tools.
- Represent the company professionally on job sites.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years carpentry experience required.
- Driver's License preferred.
- Strong work ethic, punctual, team player.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions.
- Must have basic hand tools.
- Professional, motivated, eager to grow.
Pay & Benefits:
- $24–$31/hour depending on experience.
- Paid training & career growth path.
- 3 days PTO with an additional week after the first year.
- Work boots allowance after 90 days.
- Steady work, Mon–Fri, 6:30am–3:30/5pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
