Welder – MIG/TIG
Unlimited Welding & Fabrication
Unlimited Welding & Fabrication is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our growing fabrication shop. This is a hands-on role focused on building custom weldments to print in a production environment. We are looking for a highly skilled welder with3-6 years of relevant MIG/TIG fabrication experience who can work independently, produce quality work consistently, and contribute to an efficient shop operation.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld custom weldments using MIG and TIG
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
- Measure, fit, prep, and assemble materials accurately before welding
- Produce quality welds that meet strength, appearance, and dimensional requirements
- Work from prints to complete weldments with minimal supervision
- Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and shop standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Support productivity and workflow in a fast-paced fabrication environment
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of MIG/TIG welding experience in a fabrication or production shop environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Proven experience fabricating and welding custom weldments to print
- Strong fitting, measuring, layout, and material preparation skills
- Ability to hold tolerances and produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds
- Strong attention to detail, workmanship, and shop efficiency
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Experience with fixturing, complex assemblies, or multi-step weldments
- Familiarity with production workflow and maintaining quality across repeat jobs
- Welding certifications are a plus, but not required
