Overview
X3 Steel Construction is seeking a safety-conscious, highly skilled NCCCO Certified Rough Terrain Crane Operator. You will be responsible for operating RT cranes to lift, move, and position structural steel and other materials with precision on various job sites in Lakeview OR
Key Requirements
- Active NCCCO Certification: Must hold active TSS (Telescopic Boom-Swing Cab) or TLL (Telescopic Boom-Fixed Cab) credentials.
- Rough Terrain Expertise: Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating RT cranes in off-road, unimproved, or tight-quarter construction sites.
- Safety & Standards: Deep understanding of OSHA 1926.1400 and ASME B30.5 standards, including load charts and "pick-and-carry" operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in checking hydraulic systems, outrigger stability, and performing daily inspections.
- Physical Ability: Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure and level the crane on varied terrain using mats and cribbing.
- Perform daily OSHA-compliant inspections of the boom, hoist, and rigging.
- Execute precision lifts for structural steel projects.
- Communicate clearly via hand signals or radio with riggers and signal persons.
