Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical will support the project management team in overseeing mechanical engineering projects, particularly in the HVAC and commercial construction sectors. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and assisting in the management of project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of mechanical projects in HVAC and commercial construction.
- Coordinate project schedules and communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Support the project manager in monitoring project progress and performance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and meeting minutes.
- Assist in the management of project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in mechanical, HVAC, or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and HVAC design.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
