Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of performing complex welding, fabrication, and fitting tasks on various projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and mechanical assembly, ensuring high-quality workmanship in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Must have minimum of 5years experience
Duties
- Fit and weld various parts for our customers. Type of work ranges from machine/robot bases to electrical enclosures.
- The candidate MUST be able to Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly tasks. The expectation is the candidate will be able to reproduce a part using the drawing with limited support
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble sheet metal, tubing, and structural components.
- Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts for material handling and installation on construction sites or within manufacturing facilities.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices during all operations.
- Assist in the development of fabrication plans and provide technical guidance to junior team members when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience reading and building to prints
- Proficiency in MIG welding stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
- Ability to operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely.
- Math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards.
