Job Title: Apprentice Electrician (3rd/4th Year)

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and skilled 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who have developed foundational electrical knowledge and are advancing toward journeyman-level proficiency. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both commercial and residential environments, while continuing to develop technical skills under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, lighting, outlets, and related components.

· Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings with guidance from a Journeyman or Master Electrician.

· Support troubleshooting of electrical issues using testing devices and assist in repairing or replacing faulty wiring and equipment.

· Ensure work is performed in compliance with applicable local, state, and national electrical codes.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks to support safe and efficient system operation.

· Work collaboratively with electricians, contractors, and other team members to complete projects on schedule.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time tracking.

· Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of tools and materials.

· Assist in responding to service calls and emergency electrical issues as directed.

Required Qualifications:

· Currently enrolled in or completion of a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program (3rd or 4th year).

· Working knowledge of electrical systems in residential and/or commercial settings.

· Basic understanding of electrical codes and safety practices.

· Ability to use common electrical tools and testing equipment.

· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn under supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with low voltage systems, specifically fire alarm, security, and/or access control.

Work Environment:

Work may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and environments.
Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in potentially hazardous conditions.
Overtime and on-call work may be required.

Compensation:

· Compensation is based on experience, year in apprenticeship program, and demonstrated skill level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.30 - $29.28 per hour
