Job Duties:
-Troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial HVAC units.
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and other related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Perform brazing and soldering tasks as necessary for HVAC installations and repairs. --Connect high and low voltage wiring, braze copper lines, check refrigerant pressures.
- Drive a company van to various job sites for installation and service calls.
- Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, such as cleaning and replacing filters.
- Provide field service support to customers, troubleshooting issues and making necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all installations and repairs.
Experience:
- Previous experience in HVAC service is required, 5+ years in residential
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a field service role. Ability to physically perform the necessary duties, lifting over 50lbs and tolerating high temperatures in tight spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Knowledge of brazing techniques for HVAC installations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
