Overview
Trinity Fire & Technology is hiring a Project Superintendent – Data Center Life Safety Systems for a large-scale data center project in Afton, Texas. This is a key field leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving execution of our scope, including fire alarm, VESDA, and related life safety systems within a fast-paced data center environment.

We are looking for a dependable, experienced, highly organized leader who knows how to manage work on very large, fast-paced projects with heavy planning, coordination, and execution demands. This role may be a strong fit for someone with prior experience as a low-voltage superintendent, electrical superintendent, or similar field leadership role on large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects.

The key is not that the candidate has held this exact title before. The key is that they understand how to lead in a demanding environment where success depends on planning ahead, coordinating manpower and materials, communicating effectively, documenting progress, and keeping multiple moving parts aligned at all times.

This is not a passive role, and it is not for someone who needs constant direction. We need a superintendent who can lead from the front, stay ahead of the work, solve problems in the field, coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and make sure the job gets done right.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day field operations for Trinity Fire & Technology’s scope on a large-scale data center project
Supervise installation activities for fire alarm, VESDA, and related life safety systems
Manage manpower, workflow, daily production, and field execution
Plan work in advance and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and site needs to support production
Read and interpret plans, drawings, schedules, specifications, and project documents
Coordinate closely with project management, the general contractor, other trades, vendors, inspectors, and field staff
Attend meetings, take clear meeting notes, track action items, and communicate follow-up requirements effectively
Prepare and manage daily reports and weekly work plans
Maintain schedule awareness and help drive production to meet aggressive project milestones
Support commissioning, inspections, testing, turnover, punch work, and project closeout activities
Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements
Maintain quality control, jobsite organization, and accountability in the field
Identify field issues early and help implement solutions before they affect production or schedule
Maintain clear field communication, reporting, and documentation
Lead crews with professionalism, urgency, accountability, and consistency

What We Are Looking For

Strong superintendent, general foreman, or comparable field leadership experience
Prior experience in low-voltage, electrical, fire alarm, or related construction trades
Proven success on large, fast-paced projects requiring significant planning and coordination
Strong people skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers, contractors, field personnel, and management
Strong ability to manage manpower, sequencing, logistics, and daily field execution
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, schedules, and project documents
Ability to document work clearly through daily reports, meeting notes, and weekly work plans
Dependable, organized, and proactive
Strong sense of urgency and follow-through
Ability to keep multiple moving parts aligned in a demanding project environment
Strong coordination and leadership skills
Ability to represent the company professionally on a large, high-profile project

Preferred Experience

Data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial project experience
Fire alarm system installation and field leadership
VESDA or aspirating smoke detection experience
Experience coordinating with general contractors and multiple trades
Experience managing production schedules, manpower planning, and field quality
Experience with commissioning, testing, turnover, and closeout
Knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards
