Full service, design-build firm specializing in residential remodeling seeks Lead Carpenter. From renovations to additions, historical homes to contemporary, our clients come to us because they desire expert design-planning, fine craftsmanship, responsive customer service and the best value for their investment. We serve primarily the Metro-Boston area (Newton, Wellesley, Lincoln, Weston, Wayland, Natick, Concord) and specialize in:

-Kitchen and bath remodeling

-Basement refinishing

-Additions

-Exterior renovations

-Custom cabinetry

We are seeking a Lead Carpenter with the following qualifications and skillset:

10 years experience as a Lead Carpenter working on residential projects
MA Construction Supervisors License
A reliable truck or van with personal tools is required
Strong communication skills in order to develop meaningful relationships with team members, clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers
Strong customer service skills and ability to adjust to client needs and personalities
Demonstrate the ability to actively anticipate next steps on a job and client needs or concerns
Proficient jobsite management and planning skills: coordinating, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Sense of accountability for all aspects of a project: ability to track deadlines and schedules while also identifying and prioritizing critical next steps intuitively
Ability to adapt to ever-changing priorities and unexpected challenges as they arise
Ability to run a safe, clean, orderly and well- stocked jobsite
Ability to multi-task: move efficiently between various large and small jobs, acting as a carpenter and/or a manager on any given day
Ability to manage day-to-day onsite operations while also producing much of the work
Proficient at computer skills (Word, Excel, and Email)
Takes pride in high quality craftsmanship while keeping an eye on customer satisfaction, project deadlines and the financial bottom line
Ability to exercise a sense of urgency as needed to maintain commitments
Experience with estimating is a plus
OSHA certifications are a plus
