Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Installer & Manager to lead installation projects and oversee daily operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high standards of quality and safety across all projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, field service experience, and excellent management skills to drive success in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to ensure precise installation and maintenance.
- Manage installation schedules, coordinate with clients and team members, and oversee project timelines for efficient completion.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to optimize performance and longevity.
- Supervise field technicians, providing guidance on service procedures, safety protocols, and technical troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations during installations and repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and service reports for each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning systems, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler operation.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, use of ohmmeters, and property maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL or driver certification preferred.
- Knowledge of field service procedures including troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Experience managing or supervising teams in a construction or service environment is highly desirable. Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
