TITLE: Field Service Technician (CNC)
Location: Remote Oklahoma City OK or Wichita KS
Job Type: Full Time Direct Hire
Travel Approximately 95 percent mostly local
OVERVIEW:
· This is a high impact field service role for a technician who can independently troubleshoot repair and restore CNC and metal forming equipment at customer sites.
· The position is built for someone who understands that machine uptime drives production and who takes ownership of solving complex mechanical and electrical problems in the field.
What You Will Do:
· Diagnose troubleshoot and repair CNC and metal forming equipment at customer facilities.
· Perform mechanical electrical and basic software related service repairs modifications and corrective maintenance.
· Install startup test and validate equipment to ensure full operational readiness.
· Interpret mechanical drawings electrical schematics and technical manuals accurately.
· Document service work machine condition findings and completed repairs in clear service reports.
· Serve as the primary on site technical resource for assigned customer locations.
· Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation and preventive maintenance procedures.
· Manage field assignments independently across Oklahoma City and Wichita service regions.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum 4 years of relevant field service experience or completion of a 2 year mechanical or trade school program.
· Strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
· Hands on experience using diagnostic tools and service repair equipment.
· Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with AutoCAD or other 3D CAD platforms.
· Background in sheet metal or fabrication environments.
· Prior machine operator or hands on technical support experience.
· Multilingual capability in Spanish French or German is a plus.
Work Structure:
· Primary customer coverage includes Oklahoma City Oklahoma and Wichita Kansas.
· Weekday on site travel with hotel stay during the week and return home on weekends.
· Occasional regional travel to additional customer sites as needed.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
