Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, grinders, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to cut, shape, and weld metal parts according to specifications.
- Perform MIG , TIG , FCAW , and Stick welding techniques to join steel structures securely.
- Experience working with cranes and rigging equipment safely to lift and position heavy steel beams and metal deck with precision.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, inspecting materials for quality, and adhering to safety standards and best practices.
Skills
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as grinders, torch, concrete drills, mag drills, saws, and TC guns.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy steel structures safely with cranes or forklifts.
