Job Summary:
Our family-owned 3-year-old residential/light commercial Electrical and HVAC company is looking to hire an *experienced* residential electrician to run residential electrical repairs Monday-Friday. He must possess prior residential electrical training and experience, strong diagnostic and repair skills, be friendly with customers, and be drug and alcohol-free while on the job.

Job Details:

- The electrician I hire will drive a fully stocked Ford Transit 250. All required materials and many required tools will be stocked at all times. He will run 2-4 electrical service calls Monday-Friday per day, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend emergency calls if needed.

Payment Terms:

- The electrician I hire will start at $22/hr until he is riding in his own van (goal is after one week), after which point he will be bumped up to a starting pay of $26/hr. In his first week of training, he will learn to use our dispatch software and customer interactions, then be sent on his own. Residential customer service experience is required.

- He will have the opportunity to upsell customers additional services for up to 10% of all total sales. Additional services include air conditioners, generators, landscape lighting, AC maintenance packages, etc. He will have an entire list of additional services he can sell the customer on an iPad. In the case of an upsell, he will receive 3% of each sale he closes and an additional 7% for the installation of each sale, including his hourly pay, for a total of 10% of each job's total value + hourly. This can add up quickly!

- The electrician will be PAID WEEKLY (every Friday), both his hourly pay and commission earnings through closed sales.

- If the electrician is required to work a weekend emergency call, he will receive time-and-a-half pay.

**We are NOT looking to train someone in residential repairs.** All applicants must have experience in residential diagnosis and installing wiring, breakers, switches (single-pole/3-way/4-way), outlets, panels, meters, fans, and lighting. PLEASE DO NOT ASK IF WE ARE ACCEPTING APPRENTICESHIPS. We are only looking for an electrician with verifiable residential experience and work history.

Pay: $26.00 per hour
